Pedigree

Rush is a handsome red and white fellow who thinks alot of himself! Always the outgoing and confident showman, he never let us down. We believe that he is the only Whippet to ever finish his championship with three specialty 5 point majors.

That wasn't enough for Rush, however, as just one month before his second birthday he won the Greater San Diego Whippet Association Specialty over some of the country's top Whippets.

It is obvious from any photo of him that his head is stunning. He is in possession of every detail which defines gorgeous head type.
Beyond that he is a big bodied dog which accentuates the dramatic underline very important to this breed. His beautifully filled front allows for his easy and level side gait which is clean coming and going. His sweepy rear coupled with his short typey hocks completes the picture in grand style.

#1 Whippet sire for 2000, 2001, 2002 (tied with his son Redford for 2002) #2 Hound sire for 2001.

Sire of 40 plus champions to date which includes 7 Specialty winners (which includes the 2003 AWC National Specialty winner, Ch Poppy Hills My Brave Face!), 6 All-Breed BIS winners ( in three countries), 2 Westminster KC BOB winners.

He finished both his ASFA and AKC running titles with BOB over field champions and enjoyed a BIF in ASFA competition along the way. We feel it is very important to prove the athletic ability of our dogs. We are pleased that Rush has joined a long line of field champions that we have been proud to breed.
