Neiman

Chelsea Chanticleer

Our green, 7 month old puppy hit the big time at his second show!! Neiman, officially known as Chelsea Chanticleer, is pictured winning a MAJOR for WD/BOW at Pasadena KC under Afghan breeder-judge Sandy Frei. We could not be more pleased since our baby had no idea what he was doing.

His show debut was at the National where he won a third place in both the Futurity and the regular classes. Poor Neiman had to endure a handler who was in agony from back pain. Still, he had a fabulous time (he LOVES liver) and was able to place well in a large class of 24.

We are very proud of our Jasper X Ember son!

Pasadena was kind to Chelsea Whippets. Chelsea My Blue Heaven (Ch Summit Sorcerer's Apprentice, ROM X SBIS/BIS Ch Chelsea Dangerous Beauty, ROM), handled by Shellie Juden, won her first major under judge Carol Spritzer. Congratulations to owners Doug and Jo Amann!! They are THE BEST!!

Butters

Ch Surrey Hills' Golden Boy
Pedigree

News Flash! - Butters was SBIS at the AWC Midwestern Regional Specialty under breeder-judge Ms Sharon Sakson (Paris) He is not only Jasper's first champion he is also Jasper's first Specialty winning progeny.

Please enjoy this candid shot of Jasper's first champion, Butters. Officially known as Ch Surrey Hill's Golden Boy. We are quite proud of this young man. We feel he has much to offer the breed. His beauty, charisma and coursing drive proves his versatility. Watch for him as he competes in many avenues of competition in the future. We are so enamored by this young man we choose him to sire Smooth's last litter. While the litter will not be raised here at Chelsea, we are intimately involved. For more details about this upcoming litter, cobred with Sue Carbajal and Harriet Vincent please visit the Coreymore web site of Sue Carbajal.

Sydney Group 3 - Hound Show
Sydney - Group 3 at the Hound Classic

Our Sydney continues to rise to the top. She is featured winning Hound Group 3 from the Bred-By exhibitor class for a 4 point major under Saluki breeder-judge Mr. Norman Strathdee at the prestigious Hound Classic. This is the second time Sydney has taken a BOB from the classes. Both were major wins.

Beckham continues his winning ways in California. At the Hound Classic, he won his second major under Greyhound breeder Michael Loller.

"Maria" has every right to feel pretty!! It is now Ch Chelsea I Feel Pretty. She finished under Robert Moore at Silver State Kennel club, owner-handled by Carmen Peterson. This finish gives her dam, BIS/SBIS Ch Chelsea Dangerous Beauty her ROM title!!

We were thrilled with Beckham's California debut.
At the Greater San Diego Whippet Association Beckham thrilled us by winning BiSweeps under breeder-judge Carolyn Mountan and went on to WD for his first major under breeder-judge Max Magder.

Congratulations to Jon and Leigh Ann Bauer for their NEW Ch Chelsea Let Me Entertain You. He finished with his fourth major under Betty Krause and as a move up special took BOB the following day under Joe Gregory.

Congratulations to Carmen Peterson. Her "bitchlet" snagged two whopping 5 point majors during the hotly contested Arizona Specialty week. Chelsea I Feel Pretty began the week in grand style by capturing WB/BOW/ Best Bred-By Exhibitor at the Arizona Whippet Association under breeder-judge Ms. Harriett Nash Lee (pictured). Two days later she repeated the performance under breeder-judge Janet Van Wormer. "Maria" lacks one single to finish.

We could not be more proud of these littermates sired by DC Summit Autumn Gabardine Martin, LCM CD out of our beautiful BIS/SBIS Ch Chelsea Dangerous Beauty.

Jaspar

Jasper in Arizona

We were thrilled with the success of our Jasper, also known as Ch Chelsea Chalcedony, at the deeply competitive Arizona Specialty week.
Jasper captured three BOB of the five.

It's now Ch Chelsea Serengeti! Geti finished with three majors. His finishing major was an AWC supported entry under Joan Anselm.

With extreme pride I am sharing the newest photos of Sydney at 16 months old. Officially known as Chelsea Wollongong (Ch Sol Y Sombra Palais Royal X Taejaan Innocent Eyes). Sydney is selectively exhibited and she has 5 points to show for our efforts. Her last outing was rewarded with a BOB over specials for a major under Carol Duffy at Redwood Empire KC.

Sydney exhibits the body-type we have striven for during our 24 years of breeding Whippets.
