There is no secret to the fact that Drake is our main man. What
more is there to say about him after all? Through the years we’ve
been lavish in presenting him to the Sighthound fancy. Yet again,
his virtues are worth repeating. Drake is our stately, dignified
gentleman. His virtues are many, highly prized, difficult to achieve
and elusive to maintain. Importantly, he produces them. Drake is
a smooth, big bodied, moderately boned stallion of a dog. His front
is beautifully and properly angulated with luscious fill which affords
him his strong free-moving style. His generous length and angles
give him an elegant, houndy silhouette. He stands 21 1/4 inches
tall. His sweet and tolerant nature makes him a pleasure to live
with.
Drake was owner handled throughout his entire show career. He was
selectively shown, never extensively campaigned. At the peak of
his career, he was exhibited a total of twelve times in 1992. The
